I am Terrell J. Swanson, MD, FAWM, a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with 16 years of active clinical practice across Level 1 and 2 trauma centers, academic institutions, community hospitals, and rural emergency departments. I am fellowship-trained by the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM) in hypothermia, frostbite, heat stroke, altitude illness, and envenomation, and currently a candidate for a Diploma in Dive and Marine Medicine (DiDMM) with focused training in decompression sickness, barotrauma, and gas embolism. I maintain full-time clinical practice while providing expert witness services, ensuring my opinions reflect current medical standards and real-world emergency care.
